Portal to BW Connection issue


Hi All,

Performed Stack upgrade and Kernel Upgrade in Portal. After Upgrade, from portal, I am not able to execute to any reports. I am getting connection error to backend BW (UME Master). If I login to BW from GUI, then login to portal, it connects perfectly and no error is occurring. Please help.

    Hi Kavita,

    Check the destination RFC in Visual admin for BW.

    Update this connection and also the host and services file on portal system.

    Once this is done, take a restart of portal.

    All,

    TCP/IP connection from BW to Portal is working fine.

    In Portal, Visual Admin, JCo RFC Provider, RFC shows fine. Pls help.
