Availability check on stock transport orders

Hi experts

We are introducing stock transport orders between plants in the same company code.  Our process is as follows:

Requesting plant runs MD03 and is configured for stock transport orders from supplying plant.  Stock level is below reorder point and a planned order is created.  Convert the planned order to purchase requisition and do an availability check.  If the supplying plant have sufficient stock on hand the full quantity is confirmed.  In the case of insufficient stock levels a confirmed quantity is only received when adding both the requesting and the supplying plant planed delivery times and GR processing times together.  My expectation is that if the requisitions delivery date is equal to or more than the PDT of the supplying plant, a confirmed quantity should be obtained.

Your assistance will be appreciated.

Kind regards

Michael

Hi,

Your expectation is correct for the stos for the availability check . The addition of NL at spro--mm--purchasing--PO-STO will provide an STO process and assignment of the availability check will plan the availability for the Supply plant .

The below SAP links will clearly explains beautifully about the process and you can have a reference .

Hello

Try to change the value defined for the setting 'Check without RLT' in scope of check (transaction OVZ9) and test the scenario again.
