Hi Priya,

It's a general question and in such a case it's better to google and read some documents. The best one is Unit 5, lesson "Time Evaluation With Clock Times" of SAP HR311 training book.

Anyway, for some detail information about TIP table have a look at my replies at

Iam testing below scenario

My Planned working time is 09:00 till 18:00 and Break in between 12: 00 till 12:30

- 01: not approved overtime, out of planned time. As you see EE has start the work after its planned time.

- 02: work in planned time

- 05: Break in planned working time. My assumption is correct or wrong can you let me know

There is a GAP for the timing  17:00 to 18:00 why it is not showing any gap in TIP entry could you please let me know

Can you share a screenshot of TIMTP function? I would have a look at TZP and TIP.

As you see in TIP table you have a record from 17:00 to 18:00 and assigned pair type and processing type are correct.

So until here system works fine and you should consider in which step afterward you are loosing this record. Then we can fix the problem.

As per configuration of table V_T555Z it is working fine when look at the time type 0110 and ID 02  and "P" combination is saying that planned working time is 09:00 17:00 where Break time is 12:00 12:50 which is ID 05 and indicator "K" store it in 0510 after 17:00 consider it as over time and store it in 0310 ID 01 Pair type is 1 i.e values are coming from Pair type "1" employee at work.

Concentrate on ID pair type and Time type so that you will get an idea and check the functions TIMTP and DEFTP as well to understanad clearly.

Venkatesh
