ACCOUNT Dimension Description property hidden

Hi,

My dimension property ("DESCRIPTION") of Account dimension is hidden. I have tried everything including UJA_REFRESH_DIM_CACHE but unable to recover the description property.

When I see the same dimension through EPM Addin I can see the description but not through web client in edit dimension.

Your help is required.

which version of IE are you using?

I am using version 10 of IE.

maybe try clean your browsers cache.

internet settings -> browser history settings -> view files, delete all those files.

Same result. I have checked the same on firefox.. still cannot see description column.

whats your BPC backend version and EPM add on version?

BPC Backend is release is 810 (Please see the attached file)

EPM Addin is version 10 SP 18 patch 2 (Please see the attached file)

You can control the display of properties as follows.

In your case, the description property might be unchecked.

I have seen this but didn't find description option in list view. Although when I see the same in hierarchy view its showing that.

Can you just check in RSA1 from back end and search for the infoobject. See how the master data/Text options maintained.
