Discontinuation Indicator not getting picked up in CO01, but is running smoothly with MRP

Hello Gurus,

I have material M1 that has been discontinued and has been replaced by M2. The item in the BoM has also been maintained to allow for this.

This process has been running smoothly when driven by MRP. It also works well when converting planned orders to prd orders CO40 + CO41.

This issue is when we need to manually create pr orders CO01. It also doesn't work when manually creating a planned order MD11 and converting it.

Any ideas?
