How to handle excees qty in WM staging process.

Hello,

My clients wants to issue more qty in WM staging. Actually, he creates process order for 35 KG and creates TR and TO for respetive qty and then he goes to main store with TO printout to collect the goods ,sometimes storekeeper gives lot qty of 50 KG.

Issue is that, they are entering 50 qty in TO confirmation screen and -15 Kg qty going to 999 stoarge type. it generates additional work for  user to clear the diffrence by manual TO creation.

Is there any way to clear these diffrences from stoarge type 999 or alternate way to handle this scenario without creating manual TO.

As you mentioned that "sometime storekeeper gives lot qty of 50 kg" if i am not wrong then you are physically transfering the 50 unit to production storage but in system you are transfering 35 to Production line side storage type and rest 15 to 999.

In my opinion you are suppoed to confirm 50 pc to PSA storage type and then once the production is over then transfer the leftover quantity from PSA storage type to physical bin location or else you can follow the process as mentioned by Jurgen or else explore the configuration of return storage type / storage bin at storage type level under(LE---WM----Master data)

next to the difference in the TO is a field to decide if the difference is posted to the difference storage type or to the source storage type. It depends on your local customizing which one is defaulted.

According to your issue it is defaulted with difference storage 999, hence the user needs to switch this to the source storage type.
