Hi,
We have created a flat file data source for hierarchy and also created transfer rules and tried to transport to Quality system.
Its giving error and unable to transport the changes.
Is it possible to transport the heirarchy changes to other systems.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Jyothi.
Hi,
please fallow the below sequence
1. first check the FLAT FILE source eixst in bothe sytems (dev and qas)
2. in dev collec the first .
a. data soruce
b. info pacakge
c.master data obejct
d.transfer rules and update ruels
e. communication structure and transfer structure.
3. all object should be collect in the custome pacakge not in the $TMP
4. if you the $TMP you will get the errors and it won't the possible transports.
Thanks,
Phani.

Hi,
You need to share the error mesage. so that we can suggest options to make to them success.
is Your flat file source system connections are moved to prod?
First move your target.
later you can move data.
after that you can move transfer/update rules.
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for the response. We have connectivity for flat file source system.
We have collected the info object, data source(flat file datasource) and transfer rules and transfer structure in one request and tried to move to Quality system.
The error message is "The data source does not exist in source system version A".
Yes..The data load was successful and also source system confiurations are fine.
DataSource does not exist in source system FLATFILE of version A
Mapping between data source and flat file is inconsistent
DataSource does not exist in source system of version A
Reference to the transfer structure is not available.
We again activate dthe datasource and tried to transport. Still getting the same error.
Please help in fixing this.
