Calculation of Automatic Periodic interval for loan planning

Hello All,

We have a requirement for generating a payment schedule for Loans in SAP BPC based on the below mentioned parameters,

a) Repayment Interval (Make repayment once in x months)

b) Interest Interval (Make payment once in x months)

c) Interest Rate
d) Loan amount

The above parameters are stored in Account dimension.

We save the schedules in Flow dimension. (Eg. Interest paid, principal repayments, etc)

We have currently automated the form with Excel formulas. Is there a better solution through a script for the same. Any standard solution is welcomed.

We are trying to avoid BADI for this case.

Regards,

Ram

    Hi Ram,

When you are talking about calculations for the variable number of time periods etc... it's better to keep calculation logic in Excel template. Badi is an alternative. Script logic is very limited to support this scenario...

    Hi Ram,

The requirement is too complex for script logic, some calculations need to use BADI.

You can try to avoid using BADI, but then you can not provide the best solution for the project.
