Hi All,
We have installed SAP NW 7.4 and configure SSO for our back end systems ( ERP, BI and Solution manager ).
So we want to use it with Windows AD users as UME to NW 7.4 portal, we have configured in portal. But in the back end ERP, BI and Solution manager we have same user with different ID.
For example in Windows AD we have SSOTEST, same user has TESTSSO in ERP, SSOUSER in BI and USERSSO in solution manager.
Some where i read that we can create any number of aliases for a single user in Windows AD. But our AD admin saying that the option is not available.
Please suggest how we can configure for different users.
Regards,
Sree
It is possible to map the AD principal name onto any SAP user/client in backend system using configuration in USRACL table on ABAP side.
Thanks
Tim

Hello Sree
In case of different userids in different systems for the same user, you need to configure user mapping in UME. With this, you basically map different userids of same user. Please refer below sap help for steps:

Hi Tapan,
We have configured LDAP UME in Portal. Could you please let me know the step defining attribute mapping from logical attributeREFERENCE_SYSTEM_USER
to the physical attribute. Is this need to be done in LDAP or SAP system.
Where we need to configure this parameter, is it in LDAP or Portal ume.usermapping.refsys.mapping.type = attribute, what value need to provide in the attribute. Regards,Sree
