Lync status on the portal

Hi there,

A quick question on the possibility of being able to see the Lync availability status in the employee directory of the SAP Portal.

Is it possible to have a field that shows if somebody’s availability as shown in outlook and Lync, when accessing the Staff Directory through the Portal.

This is expected to be possible by pulling the live information from outlook or Lync.

Could some one help in identifying the existence of such scenario and the confirm the possibility.
