Hi Experts,
I need to delete an existing Collaboration room in the portal.
What I know is that I need to be either the owner or an administrator of the room to delete it - the problem is that I am not.
The owner of the room cannot also delete it because once the room is accessed, we get an error saying that the room does not exist anymore.
But it is still there in the list.
I have also already tried to clear cache but it did not help.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Vey
Hello Paul,
It seems that your room is deleted as users have an error when trying to access it. Are you using trex? If yes, check if the index for room is OK. From tags I guess that your are with EP7.0, have a look into advanced property under System Administration -> System Configuration -> Collaboration -> Room Search Properties. You will get the name of the index and then go to index administration to check if the index is running.

Hi Paul,
You can only delete a room if it is not being used by any other object. You receive a list of all objects also using the collaboration room.
Thanks,
Hamendra

There should be some SAP KM reports available to clean inconsistencies for such cases, did you tryed that? (Content Admin -> KM Content -> Reports -> Consistency Checks).
