Hi,
Can you provide me the difference and how does the display mode be impacted with the below enclosed options provided for various document types:
a) Actual events from TM and EM, expected events from EM
b) Actual events from TM,expected events from EM
c) Actual events and expected events from EM only
Hi Deepak,
See below the SAP documentation for these options:
Controls from which systems the actual events are to be retrieved for display on the execution tab.
Expected events are always retrieved from SAP Event Management (SAP EM). For actual events, you can decide from which systems they are to be retrieved, as follows:
------------------
This is pretty straight forward. Depending upon the client requirement, the actual events can be reported from EM (vis EDI, UI etc) or TM (FO execution tab).
Sometimes customers have custom events which are a group of both type of events.
Say for example you go for option 2 - (From SAP TM only) :
Events can be reported directly from FO document by the planner/user but not from EM via EDI or EM UI
Hope this is clear.
Thanks,
Deb
