   Hi Mamta,

I think that system is not reachable from your machine.

Can you Ping to your HANA system from your command prompt?

If it is not giving reply then you need to check with your host name.

Hi Matma ,

Can you check the Instance Id of your hana server and port is open on your server.

If your instance id is 00 then your port will be 30015 and if you instance id is 09 then your port will be 30915.

Hi Pratik,

Instance ID is 00, but how to check whether port is open on server or not.

Thanks & regards,

mamta

Hi ,

Now it can be the two reasons:

1. Your hana server is down.

2. Port on hana server is not open due to some firewall settings or other. For these you can use third party tools or on server you can execute netstat command.

Hi Mamta,

You can check do a simple test using telnet.

Open a console (Start -> Run -> CMD)

type:

telnet ld9155 30015

If you go to a blank screen, the server is listening and you have no network issue

Here a simulation that should fail (except if you have an instance 99 on this server, or another app listening on this port):

Connecting To ld9155...Could not open connection to the host, on p

ort 39915: Connect failed
