Certificate problem with Load balancing servers

We are using two servers for load balancing on production environment and Installed SMP 3.0 service on both of these servers. Regenerated the
certificates on both the servers seperately to have external DNS name.

Now we are using two certificates generated on both of these load balancing servers on the client.

We were getting an SSL invalid chain issue if we use only one certificate.


Please suggest us if there is any possibility of merging these certificates/ to have only one on both the servers and the client.

    Is this related to an Agentry application?

    If so, is the load balancer also acting as a proxy server or is it in pass through?
