Report creation in BPC 10.1 (Classic) using excel add-in for MS Excel 2013

Current system versions:

SAP_BW : 740

CPMBPC : 810

EPM add in : Version 10.0 SP 17 .NET 3.5

Issue:

While creating a report, with one dimension on row and column each,

I am getting following error

"Internal Server Error

500 Connection timed out"

Issue resolved.

MDX parser was not working.

Replaced librfc32 in kernal directory.

Yes, I can connect to the environments in excel. But while creating the report, I am facing the above error.

can anyone else create reports?

One of my colleague is able to create the report on Excel 2007 with SP 14.

Is there any specific requirement as to EPM add-in for BPC 10.1 ?

Hi Amit,

What SP of 10.1 are you using? You can check Central Note for that SP, it should tell which EPM Add-in SP is compatible.

For example, OSS Note 2023281 says that for 10.1 SP04 you need EPM Add-in SP20.

I checked for any errors in SGL1 but there seem none.

And we all using same ID on different machines and the issue is still the same.
