Additional work center in mobile (smartphone) app

Hi all,

I've noticed that, although the user has authorizations to access the standard (e.g. Visits) WC from the browser, the same WC is not displayed in the smartphone app, while custom developed WC based on custom Business Object is displayed.

Is it possible to add additional work center (from the list of standard work centers, e.g. "Visits" WC) to the smartphone apps, or am I missing something?

Hi Lazar,

The smartphone app runs on a different model than the iPad and browser.  If you look in the UI designer you will see a collection of "MCOD" floorplans, those are the floorplans that will appear on the mobile phone device.  If you want some custom work to also appear on the smartphone then you will have to build those floorplans yourself*.  Have you checked in the ByD Studio community group?  That would be a better venue for this question I think.

*Disclaimer: I am no expert in this, but this is what I have found and been told in the past .
