Notification when ever reservation is created for materials.

Dear Expert,

Since procurement activity is happening through Ariba they are not carrying out MRP for material type - spares.

So wen ever i am assigning some spares to the work order automatically reservation will be created.

Now the requirement is an notification has to be triggered to the engineering stores team for carrying out the procurement activity.

so please give me some input on this. Is there any std work flow.

Regards

Depending on the number of orders created, this could result in a large amount of notifications being created - is this really what you want???

Another option may be to create a report that displays the newly added materials on PM/CS orders..

    Hi,

If i understand your concern correctly, you want a notification to be sent to the engineering procurement team everytime a reservation is created, not necessarily creation of Maintenance Notification.

If my undestanding is correct, you may need to reach out with MM experts if there is a way to have notification (either via email) whenever reservation is created via configuration or there may be a need for an enhancement.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Pramod,

For information on reservations from order, it can be viewed by engeering stores deaprtment in T code MB25 with input as plants, Storage locations, cost center etc. If you want only reservations from order it can be filtered by mov type 261 & plant & SLOC. I think it will serve the purpose & no need to create notifications for each reservations.
