printing from Crystal Works

I am printing diplomas out of Crystal works on a laser printer and it is ruining the pre-printed diplomas and destroying the raised black lettering and the gold voil. Am changing to a Ricoh SG7011DV Gel Jet printer. It works just fine printing the diplomas out of Publisher. Will I have any concerns if I print the same diploma out of Crystal Works?
