Rights for personal folder

Hello,

We are on BI 4.1 SP1 on Win 2008 R2.

I have followed follow notes -

1325669 - How to deny access to Personal Folders by using Access Levels in XI3.x

1730987 - How to deny users to create folders in their 'My Favorites' in BI Launchpad.

But no matter what I do, the personal folder always have full right for a user. I use a group in Personal Folder option in CMC to assign the top level security. Then i see that it is inheritated at the user level for that group.

There are so many notes available on the marketplace and nothing is concrete so far for me. I only tried few based on the basic Access Level theory but it is not working so far.

I tried to make even a Access Level with bunch of Deny rights and still it is allowing user to do everything.

I do not know what I am missing.

I have not yet tried the note 1857231 - How to deny the users to Add any local document to their Personal Folders (My Favorites) through BI Launchpad in BI 4.0? , which sounds promosing but need soem help.

Please advice.
