Pinging the Back Endpoint URL

Hi,

I am a newbie to SMP 3.0 . What I am trying to do is to create a native Mobile app using the SAP Netweaver gateway demo system oData services.

I have installed SMP 3.0 server & I have added the application name & provided the backend url as https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT/

I have given as anonymous user & given the login credentials of the demo system. Please find the attached images. I am not able to get success for the ping service. Request your help in solving this.

Hi Gijo,

I am not 100% sure, but I think the problem is that the SMP does not trust the certificate for the ES1 devcenter system. You might want to follow step 6.2 from this tutorial to add the ES1 certificate to your SMP key store.

Then you still need to enter the certificate alias in the screen where you define the backend connection.

Please let me know if this works for you.

Kind regards

Bjoern

Please check if you are using any proxy server (in a browser) to access this external URL  https://sapes1.sapdevcenter.com/sap/opu/odata/IWFND/RMTSAMPLEFLIGHT/

If yes, you have to check "use system proxy" option in the first screenshot. Also, you have to configure proxy settings in SMP.
