[FI-GL] Will Country Chart of Accounts be extended to Co Code Level

Yes, you have to extend GL accounts created country level chart of accounts to company code level else these GLs are not available under that company code level.

For E.g.:- A company using one GL account but another company will not be able to post to that account unless it exists in that company code. We have 1000 GL accounts in country chart of accounts but all these GLs are not using in all company codes. According to the usage of that company code we are using the relevant GL accounts so in order to use that we have to extend these GLs under company code level. In FSP0 we have general data which is not specific according to the company code wise. 111111 GL account is available in Country chart of accounts but this GL acc using in AAAA co.code in CNY currency but in BBBB Co.code we are using the same with USD currency. You can find these company code specific details in control data tab in FS00 T code.

Hi Mukthar Ali and Lakshmi,

I have checked the settings in the IDES System and in that the GL Accounts in Country COA are created at COA Level only. Hence, we decided not to extend the Country COA GL's to Co Code Segment. Will update this post incase i encounter any head winds.
