Using efashion universe locally on Webi Rich Client Offline

Hello everybody,

I downloaded SAP BI 4.1 Edge version which works fine on my Virtual Machine. I have installed Webi Rich client on my local pc. I wish to use the sample "efashion" universe offline on my computer without using the BO Server.

1) Is it possible?

2) How to do that?

I would be so happy if you have an idea about it!

    Hi,

    Yes, ypu can use a universe on offline mode, you need to :

    1- import the universe in UDT

    2- associate a shared connection to the universe ( or create a new shared connection and associate it)

    3 - save teh universe for all users locally

    --> this universe without secured connection and saved for all users can be used in offline mode
