2LIS_* Data Source Undate Method change

Hi,

I have a 2LIS_* Data source with “direct delta” in Production system.

How can I change it to Queued Delta and based on what we can make a decision either Queed Delta or Unserialized V3 Delta.

Hi,

always we can use the queued delta.

you can choose the direct, queued, unserilized V3 based on the requirments.

you want change the update methods first change the dev ecc then trasport it to prd changes.

please fallow the raman suggation very carefully lock the ECC user and moving to transport.

Hi,

Most preferred one is Queued delta.

about those differences you can get from google search.

to change V3 update methods you may need to lock ecc and move chanegs to prod.

later unlock ecc system and continue your laods.

Before chainging you need to clear your Queues SMQ1/SM13/RSA7. means you need to load delta data to bw side and keep it 0 records at queues.

Hi,

Decision of selecting Update method can be made based on the volume of data which you are expectin on daily basis, whether you need serialization or not etc..

e.g. Direct delta is recommended when the no. of documents are very few and you need serialization.

on the other hand unserialized V3 is for large no.of documents, however in this case serialization is not ensured.. unserialized V3 if used in wrong scenario can cause data discrepancy.

there are lot of documents on forum which has details about these things.. go through them and if you still have questions you can post them here.
