Navigational Attribute data is not display in Cube level and reporting

Hello ALL

Iam facing a problem like,I created Navigational attribute and I selected that navigational attribute in cube level also but data is not display in cube level.

What will be the problem?Pl help me out.

Hi Balaji,

The only reason why this would happen is that : Did you load the master data for the base characteristic (where your navigational characteristic exist). If you have done so did you do the "apply hier/attr change.

You mean base characteristic means loading data after creating Navigational attribute?Is it this way,(orelse can u tell me about this base characterstic)

Yes after making that particular attribute as a navigational attribute I loaded data in master data tables.

How to run Attribute change run?can u give me steps

Whenever you load master data attributes and hierarchies it has to be followed by a "Apply hier/attr change".

Hi Balaji,

Log out of your Bex Analzer and login again. Hopefully the values should get displayed.

Another check would be to check whether does navigation attributes exist for the report data selection.

Its solved.

But I want to know,suppose Iam using Navigational attribute in Aggregates and if v do changes v should go for ACR ok like that where and all this Attribute change run(ACR) should be done.

Hi Balaji,

Lets say B is the attribute of base characteristic A. Now we need to load the master data for A and then do the Apply hier/attr change.

As for doing apply hier/attr change goto RSA 1-> Tools ->

Apply hier/attr change -> Click the Info-oject list -> select your master data -> save -> execute.

After running Attribute change run also data is not displaying/populating in cube for navigational attribute only.

If you have done everything all previuos post said, try just have to log out and log in again.
