Dear All,
We have an organization structure based on Projects for which we
perform Manpower Planning.
We carry out the planning using simple maintenance transactions(PPOME,
PPOM) etc but would like to have an approval process attached.
For the approval process requirement we have mapped it to statuses '
Planned/Submitted/Approved/Rejected/Active.
We find the current OM functionality lacks the following,
1.Use the PPOME or PPOM transactions to create OM hierarchies in status
'Planned'.All objects created using PPOME or PPOM gets created in status 'Active'
only.
Currently we are able to only create Objects in status 'Planned' using
PP01. No mass maintenance option is available.
Please let us know if such a functionality desired by the client is
available in OM

Thanks for your reply.
Doing it using LSMW means we will have to do the workforce planning in Excel.
Since we have an Organization structure based on Projects, we have to do the workforce planning whenever a new project is received.
Having to do it in excel is tedious. Hence I was trying to check if this can be done using any of the Simple maintenance transactions.
