Splitting report - save as PDF

Hi

I'm new in CP and i'm trying to create some report for our ticketing system Autotask. Our consultants enters time on tickets every day and the best solution would be to import these entries into the ERP system, but that's not possible.

Second best is to create a simple invoice with x hours of service, and attach the report from CR as appendix.

The report I have created work perfect - it find all hour entries for all costumer, and I'm able to save the result as ONE pdf file.

If possible - i would like to have CR (server) to run throug the report, and every time it meets a pattern like PAGE END, it saves the data into a PDF file ..

I hope you can understand my assignemt... ????

You can also do report bursting as well as PDF splitting using some of the 3rd-party Crystal Reports desktop schedulers listed here: http://kenhamady.com/productlinks/default.html#desktopsched

Hi Flemming,

What you want to do is called Bursting. There are several good blogs on how to set this up.

http://davidlai101.com/blog/2011/10/27/step-by-step-guide-on-bursting-reports-in-business-objects/

Have a read through this and it should help you. Also google "Crystal Server Report Bursting" for more articles.

Good luck,

Brian
