FTPS error

Hello,

We are getting below error while connecting from PI(File receiver) to HOST.

error :

Delivery of the message to the application using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource:
FTPEx: Unexpected reply codeControl connection prematurely closed by server


but it's working when we are testing by using filezilla.



is there an security/certificate issue ?

    Issue is resolved after changing the FTPS connection to explicit with port 21.

    Hi,

    1. Do a Ping Channel test and check in Channel Monitoring

    2. Check if any firewall connections are causing this issue

    3. Try to connect using IP address in Channel config & check


    Whats your PI version?

    Hi Sankar,

    Please check the below .

    1) User permissions to connect to the file server directory.

    2) Check the SSL certificates deployment part.

    3) Provide full permissions(Read and write) for the user.

    Hi

    Log into the PI server and then try to ping your FTP server from there.

    Looks like there is a firewall issue between your PI server and FTP server.

    Hello,

    today FTP team changed the ftp server to explicit FTPS by specifying the control port as 21 and re imported new certificate in PI NWA but we are getting below issues

    for file Sender :

    Error occurred while connecting to the FTP server "*******274.sde.a****.com:21": iaik.security.ssl.SSLCertificateException: Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier


    for File receiver:

    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.lib.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: iaik.security.ssl.SSLCertificateException: Peer certificate rejected by ChainVerifier


    can you pls help me to resolve the issue?
