Delete BW delta queue in R/3 Q system(Copy from R/3 PRD system) will impact delta queue in R/3 P system?

Hi experts,

could anyone help me with the following problem about bw delta queue:

We had copy r/3 PRD system to Q system, their imformation are all the same except the ip address.Also it's connecting BW system is still the same system.

when i delete delta queue in r/3 Q system,BW lost the datasource initialization flag,and the delta queue in r/3 P system also disappear ! is this meant delta queue between r/3 P and Q system are synchronous ?

how to solve the problem? should i change the connecting bw system in r/3 Q systme? if yes ,please tell me how to do this step by step.

your answer will be very appreciated !

thanks and regards

    Hi Sam,

    As you said your ECC prod was connected BW

    thats wrong one. If you delete delta at ECC Qua then that will delete deltap pointer at bw prod as well.

    ECC Prod need to connect BW prod

    ECC qua need to connect BW Qua.

    Take basis team help and configure proper RFC connections.

    Use ful t codes - BDLS, SM59.WE05/20.

    ECC/BW Table - RSLOGSYSMAP - Need to have source/target server technical names.

    Hi Sam,

    Basis should be able to help you on this.

    Ideally when u extract Delta from ECC(QA) to BW(QA)....the Delta Queue of ECC (Prod) should not get affected.

    Can you which systems are connected to which systems after the

    BW(Prod)->ECC (Prod)

    BW(QA)-> ECC(QA).

    Sometimes its mapped wrongly.Can you check if this assignment is correct with Basis.

      Dear SVU123,

      Thanks for your quick respond!

      I have to check it by myself. The connections between our systems are like this now:

      BW(Prod)->ECC (Prod)

      BW(Prod)-> ECC(QA).

      I also think BW(QA) should connect to ECC(QA),but how to change the assignment? And how to check if it's successful? Should I use the T-CODE:BDLS?

      thanks and regards

    are you really extract the data from your SRC test and your SRC productive system into the same BW productive system? In that case don't touch delta queue if the RFC connection to your BW productive system is working. During the deletion of the delta queue the system will also logon to your BW productive system.

    If you need to connect your SRC test system to BW testsystem, the following link could be usefull:

    BW system copy scenarios - SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse - SCN Wiki senario C in case you copied the source system.

    best regards,
