How to disable user folders to be seen from normal users or admins on search

This thing can be achieved for the User’s Inboxes though.

If users are able to view the content of other user’s inboxes when doing a search from BI Launch Pad, to avoid this you can perform the following steps:

Browse to CMC > Inboxes > Manage > Top-level Security.

Select the Everyone group > Assign Security > Advanced > Add/Remove Rights.

Grant "View Objects" on Object only and uncheck “Apply to sub-object", so this
right will only apply to the top level object Inbox.

Do you want to not have these folders visible to the users?

Or do you only want to exclude them from being searchable but want them visible in CMC->Folders?

To not have a folder appear in the search result for a given set of users, you could deny "view" rights to the same folder.

However, this folder would also not be visible in CMC-> Folders for the principle that we deny this right to.

Admins should be able to see all the folders. You should not change any rights on admin users.

there is a option that excludes documents in platform search application.İs it possible to exclude user folder if I write User Folder ID there.

I wrote there [ex:18].18 is user folder ID.But there was error.it said that Invalid entry.
