MRP - Forecast based planning

Hi,

Please help.

Requirement is for trading material using forecast based planning:

1. Upload the forecast for the trading material A (which has BOM).

BOM of A:

Header A - 1 PC

Component B - 1 PC

C - 10 KG

When we upload the forecast of A for 2 PC, it should explode the BOM and it should not consider sales order, Deliveries, STO's.

In short it should create the requirement for what ever quantity is the forecast uploaded just like MTS, but it should not consider sales order, Deliveries, STO's and neither reduce the requirement when PGI is done for delivery.

If I use strategy 10, it will exclude the sales orders but also delivery will reduce forecast. Am I right??

Also i have configured a new MRP type which is a copy of forecast based planning VV (As BOM will not explode in the same) and used MRP procedure in the same so that BOM gets exploded.

Please suggest the solution.
