Object Link to SAP DMS

Hi,

Am using EHP6.am able to attach the documents to Maintenance order from DMS transaction.

But am not able to view the DMS Tab in Iw32/Iw33.

I have also implemented the SAP Note 1673999.

Please help ASAP.

Hi Veeramani,

Could you share what you did to activate DMS for maintenance orders? We're on EHP6 and have activated the switch LOG_EAM_CI_6. I was expecting to see PMAUFK and PMAFVC in the DMS object link but they're not there.

any ideas?

But when am able to attach the documents from CV01n transaction to the Maintenance order,then i must be able to see from Iw32/Iw33 transaction right???

Also am attaching the Documents to the Header Data I.e. Maintenance order PMAUPK.

Correct me if am wrong.

Hi Veeramani

If you attach documents to Maintainance order  against Item in CV01N then you will be able to see that document when you check PRT against that item in  respective maintenance order

I am able to to attach and see the documents

1> For attaching DMS documents In Plant Maintainance orders

In your maintainance order in IW32  go to Operations tab , select the first line item and press Prod Resource/tool button at the bottom of the screen , you will get change maintenance order : PRT new entries pop up screen.At the bottom of the pop up  screen select the Documents Button.

Here you can attach the DMS documents

2> For Viewing DMS Documents in Plant Maintainance orders

In your maintainance order in IW32  go to Operations tab , select the first line item and press Prod Resource/tool button at the bottom of the screen , you will get change maintenance order : PRT List of Operation screen. Here press Display PRT (F2 button) here Attached DMS document will be displayed.
