Hi experts
while my interface from webswerices..>pi..>RFC is working fi9 but there are no messages for the same in SXMB_MONI
while from wevservices....>pi...>proxy, I am able to see the XML messages in SXMB_MONI
Is it beacuse XML messages in SXMB_MONI are not made for RFC..?
I have read some blogs but not able to get the answer
Thanks!!
Backend: For RFC u do no see the messages in SXMB_MONI. Only the Proxy-Messages.
Cheers

Hi
Is there any response going back to the webservice from the RFC...
Also Check the RFC Signature if there are no export data for the same then obviuosly you cannot see the response...

Hello Nunu,
Like Inaki said, if your scenario WS > RFC is configured using an ICO object the messages will be visible only in the Adapter Engine (java stack).
In case of WS > Proxy, you might be using an XI adapter/ classical configuration objects, hence you are able to see the messages in the Integration engine (ABAP stack).
Hence, please check the runtime config of your scenario first.

Diptee

Hi Nun,
What is your PI version?, it could be a problem of you trace level in the ABAP stack or you configuration in the ICO object if you have a only java PI version. The RFC is not necessary in order to see the messages in the monitor, you can have any adapter. As you are speaking about sxmb_moni transaction i suppose that you are in PI dual (java+ABAP version). Please check the configuration pointed out by Michal in his blog
If you are using an ICO object in the configuration you can't see the messages in the sxmb_moni, because with the ICO object the message doesn't arrive to the ABAP stuck, you will only can see it in the Runtime workbench.

Hi Nunu,
Check the excellent Vadim Klimov's blog about the tracing options in the ICO object http://scn.sap.com/community/pi-and-soa-middleware/blog/2012/11/06/message-staging-and-logging-optio.... Check that you have the mode 3.
Regards.
Hi,
Is it Synchronous scenario? If yes, enable LOGGING on PI server as follows:
SXMB_ADM-->Integration Engine Configuration Data --> Configuration --> Add entry RUNTIME/LOGGING & RUNTIME/Logging_SYNC to 1
