CUA upgrade, best approach

Hello,

We are preparing to upgrade our CUA from 640 SP13 to 730 SP13 and want to understand what the best approach would be?

Understandably what we'd like to ensure are:

- all existing user data is maintained

- all existing assignments are maintained

What I haven't been able to locate is any guide or documentation on how to best manage this upgrade.

Can anyone point me towards a document, or sketch out the high level steps to best complete an upgrade?

Paul,

CUA is regular Netweaver ABAP system with CUA (Central User Administration) property,

My views to plan upgrade for such CUA systems.

- Disconnect the connected system(child systems) from CUA(Parent system).

- Peform upgrad on CUA system in detached state.

- Connect back those child system to CUA and perfom user transfer using SUGR,

Hi,

We did the upgrade last year like any Netweaver ABAP system upgrade.

No need of disconnecting the child systems.
