Running Solution Manager 7.0 and 7.1 parallel

Dear community,

currently our system landscape has a Solman 7.0 running.

Because this system is urgently needed for downloading and confirming support packages I don´t want to start

an upgrade on it to avoid not having a working solution manager.

I want to install on a new host a solution manager 7.1, configure it and connect the satelite systems to the new solution manager while

they are also still connected to the old solman 7.0 until the configuration of the 7.1 is working as it should (monitoring, mopz, etc.)

Is this scenario possible to connect satelite systems to serveral solmans temporary?
