Changing the host name

we changed the host name from 'hostname' to 'hostname.corp.xxx.com' (as SSL was requesting fully qualified hostname).. But when we did that, SPROXY fails becoz it is unable to locate the URL 'hostname.xxx'. Also when we test SM59 with the new host name 'hostname.corp.xxx.com', SM59 gives an error saying invalid hostname (and test connection gives ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_ERROR.

What steps are we missing, so that SM59 can be executed successfully.
