Hello All -
I have created a formula in the Query Desinger which is a simply subraction of two numbers. I want the result to have a percent sign. The only way I know to include the "%" sign in a calculation is to use the Percentage function but I don't need this function since my calculation is a substraction. Does anyone know how I can append this dimension to my result?
You can refer to this link for the percentage functions in BEX

Paolo,
thanks for your reply but I don't need to use the percentage function for my calculation. Let me be more specific...I need to do a simple subtraction between two numbers. For example, column 1 of my table has value 98% and column 2 should be 100-98%. I need to show this result value as 2% but the calculation removes the "%" dimension and shows only the number 2. So you see, I do not have use of the percentage function here. Do you know of any way I can include the dimension?
Thanks,
Nyrvole
