Extractor Framework: Custom Code Library Extractor (new) and City Extractor dumps

Hello,

we are currently in Setup phase of CCLM after SP12 Upgrade and have also implemented all proposed notes from RTCCTOOL. After activating the cubes and step 6 of solman_setup our Custom Code Library Extractor and the Custom Code City Extractor are Dumping with the follwing error:

Custom Code Library Extractor (new): "Error occurred"

Custom Code City Extractor: "No Custom Code Objects fournd for SYSID in CCLM"

We want to perform Setup for 3 System Landscapes for the first trial. We also had the Version of previously ServicePacks up and running.

Can you give me a hint? I did not find this error description in the Custom Code Management Roadmap for SP12+.

Hello Manuela,

you start the extractor in the CCM guided procedure in step 6.2 to get them running regularly. Before the city gets filled all preconditions have to be met:

- jobs in the managed systems are ready (6.3)

- data is extracted (loods good in your screen)

- jobs in 7.3 run and fetch data for the CCL extractor

--> CCL extractor reads then data and fills CCL cubes and certain tables AND the city

So best would be if you check the first 3 conditions first and after that you check in sap solution manager in transaction RSA1 if data is at all in 0SM_CITY and after that more precisely with transaction LISTCUBE for the systems itself if data is in.

thank you for your Input.

This leads me to my next question.

I have checked:

6.3 Schedule Analysis is green

- data is extracted --> as you saw in the Screen

- Jobs in 7.3 are the problem I think:

Cube 0SM_CCLM and 0SM_CITY are not filled!

Job: SM_CCL_OBJECTS --> is green BUT in Job log says after fetching and processing of 5951 CC-Objects --> "ERROR Saving Data to library".

Job: SM:CCL_ATTRIBS: green

Job: SM_CCL:LUSG: red --> "Failed to get Objects" and "Query Execution Error" --> But note 2034830 was installed in Version 5 and BW Content(UPL) activated a second time.

Job: SM_CCL:SIMILARITY is running green

Job: SM_QUALITY --> also red, but I start checking this once I have resolved the other Errors.

My question is now: how to get this step by step in "green" mode?

It would be nice if you could give me another hint.

Hello Manuela,

regarding the error in the SM_CCL_OBJECTS job maybe there is a problem while saving due to number range issues for 'AGS_CC_ATR'. But to be sure please open a message on SV-SMG-CCM.

The LUSG (last usage) job needs UPL data and also the job SM_CCL_OBJECTS has to be ready first.

ok, what is the status of Custom Code GENERIC extractor?

Seems like it hasn't fetched the objects, so the job has nothing to work with

can you create an OSS message? so we can connect to your system and check directly.

if you really want, you can debug the corresponding job, of try to check the cube 0SM_CCLG with the instllation number and SID to see if an objects are found.

Do you have other systems connected to CCLM?

Hello, I am getting an error where the extractor fails with error " Illegal Input "

The extraction phases Dataloader and Post DataLoader fail with error  " Illegal Input "

It has some instructions that will guide you to the error, and also some code corrections.
