GRC 10 - Allowing owners to change validity dates on eam requests

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what configuration needs to be done to allow the owners/approvers of FF id requests to change the validity dates on the requests in 10.1?

Right now I have that greyed out so the only option owners have is to reject the requests if they dont agree with the dates submitted.

Please let me know.

Dear Kiran,

Unfortunately, I don't have a test system so I cannot test this. To give you a hint please try the following:

Goto MSMP configuration(GRFNMW_CONFIGURE_WD) and edit the path the request is following to the stage of the owners/approvers. Select the stage and click "Modify Task Settings". Please mark the checkbox "Change Request Det" so that the request is editable for this stage. Also you can mark the checkbox "Runtime Cnfg Chng" to make the settings effective immediately.

Sorry for the delay in response. I tried making this change. It is still not allowing me to change the validity dates as a owner before approving the request. Can you think of anything else I can try.

Hi Kiran,

Follow the same as suggested by Alessandro and try with Approval Level as "System and Role" and try again.

Also please share screenshot fo your stage task settings to assist you.

I am using the access request workflow only for submitting FF id requests. Wouldnt Request be the option to select and not System and role for Approval level? Please can you help me understand how System and role will help.

Hello Alessandro,

I have configured the stage as shown in your screenshot to allow role owners in access request to change the "to date" field. Now they can edit the to date field but when they press enter key the date value automatically returns to "31.12.999".

Basis team has already implemented note 2091106 - UAM: Valid To in Model User defaults to 31.12.9999

Do you know why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

I have the latest version generated and also I get a warning stating at FFID Owner stage stating allows run time changes.But still the owner could not edit the Valid to date.

Should we do something at EUP : 999 ( I am using the default one).

I believe the issue lies coz u r using GRAC_MANAGER as the Stage Config id,

i have the same above config but i have maintained a custom Stage config id which is mapped to GRAC_SPM_OWNER agent id.

pls see my screenshots.

Wanted to check if you had a solution to this issue?

Currently i see, i have the same issue in changing the validity dates as an approver, where the valid to and valid from option is been greyed out.

I have checked all the steps as mentioned by different people and did not had any luck. So wanted to check if you had an luck with this issue.

Hi all

I am also facing same issue FFID Owner not able to change the Valid to date in the request.Here requester date for access is completed, means FFID owner want to approve the request, after the date completed by requester.

My question is why FFID owner not able to change the valid to date before approving the request for provision date to future.

In config I have configured for 'Change requet det' allowed at GRAC_FFID_OWNER agent id GRAC_SPM_OWNER, still FFID owner not able to approve the request without new date. he can only now reject the request.

Any other way to configure the FFID owner can change the Valid to date and approve the same request, instead of raising the new request?

I gone thru all the the recommended above answers and correct answer not available in the threads after all changes done.

I have the same issue as you and also tried above with configuring Change request det allowed at the approval stage but still the approver is not able change the valid-to date.

so if anyone has suggestions it would be welcome.

Hi Friends, Change request details & run time settings at stage level in MSMP workflow is working perfect. Could able to make validity change for both role and FFID assignment scenarios.
