Dear Friends,

I am trying to execute the VAS Inbound process via POSC. Process is (a)unloading (b) VAS with Work Center ZVS1 (c) Final Bin

Door(D001) --- > Staging Area(STA1) ---> VAS (VAS1)---.>Final bin

The packing specification,VAS order are getting determined in Inbound Delivery but while creating the WT's system is only creating Task's for 1st and 3rd step. The ZVA1 step is not getting created. Therefore I am unable to complete the process. please let me know if I am missing something.

POSC:

Work center :

Yogi

Yogi - With reference to below statement.

"Yes, I confirmed step ZUN1 but I could only see initital 2 tasks, one for ZUN1 and one for ZFIN ( B- status). The ZVA1 task was not appearing in the monitor. Not sure what is the missing link"

Did you confirm the value added service at the workcenter ZVAS? Once you confirm, the WH task for ZVA1 will get created.

Thanks

Hi,

Ajit brought up one quite important point. Not sure if this is really the cause but: do you have a VAS order at all?

Yogi - For below question

"Yes, I confirmed step ZUN1 but I could only see initital 2 tasks, one for ZUN1 and one for ZFIN ( B- status). The ZVA1 task was not appearing in the monitor. Not sure what is the missing link"

Once you confirm ZUN1 task, you also have to go to Workcenter VAS and confirm that value added service is completed. Once you do this, the Auto WT for ZVA1 would be created ( if all required configuration settings are correctly maintained).

Please clarify once you have completed the Workcenter confirmation.

Hi Yogi,

I guess Work Center determination failed in your case.I am not sure what you maintained all the settings in right place ,request you to Kindly check again.

1> Maintain External Step ZVA1 in Packspec for VAS.

2> The same external step ZVA1 maintained in POSC Settings with Destination Bin VAS_01_01.

3> Work Center Determination with bin VAS_01_01 - Tcode/SCWM/TWORKST

Hope All the custom st type copied as per the standard st type.

Kindly Check and let us know if your issue still persists.

Kind Regards,

I could see the below setting as well for ZVA1 step in POSC config, not sure if this makes any difference. Could you please let me know what is the role of this setting.

Hi,

the warehouse process type x010 is the one you find in your inbound delivery, right? I think you should not use this for you first step ZUN1, but rather use the WPT 3060 here. So can you try with changed settings? The one from your second screenshot, where the WPT and the destination bin is assigned to the process step.

Hi Juergen,

I tried the settings but still unable to fix this.

a) With 'Prod/HU WT' task is in the 1st step ZUN1, system created 2 steps. Even after confirmation 2nd step is not appearing

Checked inbound queue- NO entries

2) When I tried to place the ' Prod/Hu WT' in the last ZFIN step, but system only created a single WT which I then confirmed but it did not create the rest of the tasks.

Hi,

"- Yes, I confirmed step ZUN1 but I could only see initital 2 tasks, one for ZUN1 and one for ZFIN ( B- status). The ZVA1 task was not appearing in the monitor. Not sure what is the missing link."

In that case you should check if there is anything stuck in the inbound queue. Or if ZFIN is now active.

"As per my understanding the final step is always a product WT. Please correct me if I am wrong."

That is true for inbound processes.

But you would always try to create the final task as late as possible. So in this case you would set the flag only for the step ZFIN.

Hi Juergen,

Thanks for your reply.

- Yes, I confirmed step ZUN1 but I could only see initital 2 tasks, one for ZUN1 and one for ZFIN ( B- status). The ZVA1 task was not appearing in the monitor. Not sure what is the missing link.

-The 'Product/HU WT' in most of the cases I have seen setup like this, could you please help me understand the logic of this flag and at based on what logic we need to strike the check box. As per my understanding the final step is always a product WT. Please correct me if I am wrong.

- I was trying some combinations with ZFIN that's why thought of creating an entry in the table but yes, you are right its not required as my 3rd step is already getting determined via process type.

Hi,

"The packing specification,VAS order are getting determined in Inbound Delivery but while creating the WT's system is only creating Task's for 1st and 3rd step. The ZVA1 step is not getting created."

Well, the step ZVA1 would only be created once you have confirmed the step ZUN1. Have you done that?

Remarks:

- you would usually create the final task only after you have processed the VAS step. So you set the "Prod/HU WT" flag at the very end

- why do you have an entry in the target determination table for the step ZFIN?
