DS job scheduling using solution manager?

Hi All,

Can we schedule DS jobs using SAP Solution Manager 7.1? Also can we transport objects developed from one environment to another (i.e DEV -->QA ) apart from export option in DS or using central repository using SAP solution manager?

Kindly help on this.

I have read the we can monitor jobs in solution manager if we are scheduling jobs using BOE scheduler.

We can schedule jobs in both the ways:

1) Data Services scheduler 

2) BOE scheduler

BODS application fulfill your requirement, why are you looking for other options? Any specific reason?

Hi Arjun,

In my current project they are using SAP Solution manager for job monitoring in BW and using the same for generating transport request.

So they want to bring DS into the same flow, so that it is easy for tracking.

Similarly suggest way how transport(promotion) can be done through solution manager. Since BO flows can be done through solution manager, It is possible for DS objects can be transported through the same?
