R integration with HANA

Hello,

My customer wants to use the R language in combination with HANA. The documentation states that SAP supports SLES 11 sp1. This is not a common platform at the customers site and they want to use RedHat RHEL 6.5  instead. What is the position of SAP on this. Have we tested the application on RedHat? Are there any risks when they are going to use RedHat?

Is any sizing information available?
