HANA Studio Client Software?

I cant find the HANA Studio Client software on the SAP Download site. Where can I download it from?

Please advise on the followinng question

i am trying to do self stufy of HA100 and HA300

the compnay i work for has a demo database which they have given me access to to do the excecises from the material

i currently work on SAP and need to install ? HANA studio

i am at the following url HANA Developer Edition-SAP HANA Studio and have 3 choices of downloads (im interested in the Windows one

can i download this and install on my laptop and then use the credential provide to me for connection to the Hana 'demo' database

you advice is greatly appreciated

Yes, you can install this on your laptop or if the company you are working with want all Developers to log into a specific Server. There is also the HANA Studio on the HANA Database server which you can call from if you have the proper authorization. I hope this helps.

Here you will find three versions or can say type  which will have different set of components based on business need and license.

You can go for SAP HANA ENTERPRISE EXT. EDIT -> SAP HANA ENTERPRISE EXT. 1.0-> Installation -> Downloads

HANA SP3 is the latest version in the market in which you have different Revisions.Revision 25 is last released one.

Hi,

Are these client and studio package meant for installation on personal PC/laptops and login using the SAP provided host and instance for logins?

Shwetha, it depends. Some company deploy it on Citrix server where everyone can log in without having to upgrade on every laptop when the new version need upgrade. SOme company do not have that if they have a verys amll team. The authorized person have it installed on his/her laptop. The HANA studio is basically a client to connect to the HANA IMDB.I hope this helps.

Andrew, in order to download HANA software you need to have an SAP license to download the software. Otherwise, no can do.

Dear Andrew,

you can find the download for the SAP HANA Studio package as follows:

As a starting point, you can use the hana section on SAP Service Market Place: https://service.sap.com/hana

From there, go to "'Software Download" and there choose your HANA edition (platform edition or enterprise edition). Depending on the edition you now use one of the following navigation paths to get to the studio download:

SAP HANA Platform Edition -> SAP HANA Platform Edition 1.0 -> Comprised Software Component Versions -> SAP HANA Studio 1.00 -> <your_OS_Platform>. Once you selected the OS version, scroll down the page to see the different download packages (for different revisions).

SAP HANA Enterprise Edition -> SAP HANA Enterprise Edition 1.0 -> Comprised Software Component Versions -> SAP HANA Studio 1.00 -> <your_OS_Platform>. Once you selected the OS version, scroll down the page to see the different download packages (for different revisions).

If instead of SAP HANA Studio you are looking for the client packages (i.e. the database driver packages), instead of SAP HANA Studio 1.00 go to SAP HANA Client 1.00.

I went to SAP Service Market Place: https://service.sap.com/hana.

I then clicked on "'Software Download" but it said

SAP In-Memory (SAP HANA )

No data available

Hi Andrew,

this is probably related to your authoritations on Service Market Place. Or you may not have a HANA license (I don't know too well how authorizations and download permissions work for customers on Service Market Place). You may get some help from your SAP account contact.
