Naeem,

the latest version is always maintained in the central SAP HANA note 1514967 - SAP HANA: Central Note .

If you subscribe to the note, you will always be informed about the latest revision.

Hi Erich,

This note is a note from 2011 describing HANA DB. There's no mention of versions in it. Maybe you meant to post a different note?

the note is from 2011 and it is the central SAP note for HANA, and it contains all SAP notes for all HANA DB revisions.

Unfortunately the SAP notes for the revisions are not in sequential order. We asked for a "clean-up", as currently the search function in your web browser is the easiest way to find revision 70 or SP7, but of course, only if you know that 70 is the latest revision. .

So, right now it seems to subcribe to the note is one way to stay always up-to-date.

Hi All,

I am new to SAP Hana. I have created the account and able to access the SAP HANA cloud trial version.

It has SPS 9 version. But nowhere I am getting the functions and features available in versions wise.

The authorized site also has the latest version help :

Is there any site where we can get version wise features like MS SQL Server  - MSDN site?

What I would like to see is an SAP Note or web page stating the planned release dates of the SPs and Revisions - like SAP does for other SPs (e.g. AS ABAP, HR, SAPGUI).

There are revisions every 2-3 weeks and a major Support Package release every 6 months, in November and June. This is the schedule. It's deliberately a bit more fluid than other products. Is that a problem?

It's SAP HANA 1.4 with SP5.

HANA 1.0 SPS5 Rev 52 is the latest available version of HANA as of today (Check out http://service.sap.com/swdc). For Cloud version, it is HANA 1.0 SPS5 Rev 48 (SAP HANA One).

• HANA 1.0 SPS6 Rev 69 is available to our on-premise customers since early November, 2013.
• HANA One has 1.0 SPS6 Rev 66 and a newer version is expected to be live at HANA One in a few days.

Could you please let me know what channel you like to use to receive and use HANA SPS7? Our on-premise customers receive new SP and revision from SAP Service Marketplace (SMP) which is expected to have the earliest delivery of SPS7. Please check out saphana.com as an announcement will be made when it is released.

HANA Dev Edition will follow-up with SPS7 release to development community and SCN is the best place to get information.

HANA One will follow-up with SPS7 release to HANA One community.

There's no official answer to this, but SP7 was announced by at TechEd Las Vegas.Vishal Sikka

Usually SAP ships a SP in November, so I would say you can expect it in the next 2 weeks.

There is no publicly information yet about what specifically made SP07. Here are the future direction elements from SP06, I'm sure we will see some of these in SP07 but not all.

My sense is that SAP focussed on Suite on HANA for SP07 - making it even more Enterprise Ready.

Yes, HANA Rev 69 (SP6) is available to our on-premise customers from SAP Service Marketplace (SMP). Both Hana One and HANA Dev Edition support HANA Rev 68.

In my opinion, SAP HANA 1.0 SP6 Rev.69 is the best so far. It is the fastest and the most stable. I would strongly recommend upgrading to this revision.
