HANA Live Browser invokation

Hi - I have installed SAP HANA ANALYTICS FOR ERP 1.0 on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7 , but when i try to invoke the HANA Live browser through (http://<HANA Server Host>:80<SAP HANA Instance Number>/sap/hba/explorer ) it shows 404 error .

Also i do not find any sap.hba.explorer* roles .

Please guide me on this immediately.

Hi Pandey ,

During HANA live install using hdbalm ,

firstly give the role sap.hana.xs.lm.roles::Administrator  , after this only you can start

using hdbalm, once your install of Hana live content is complete, install HANA Live browser and

then asssign roles

- Technical name of developer role: sap.hba.explorer.roles::Developer

- Technical name of business user role: sap.hba.explorer.roles::Business

You should be able to open the browser.

Please try accessing SAP HANA Live Browser using the below mentioned URL.

http://<WebServerHost>:80<SAPHANAinstance>/sap/hba/explorer/index.html

You receive 404 error, as you are trying to call SAP HANA Live browser without proper pointer to any page.

Please make sure that you have developer role: sap.hba.explorer.roles::Developer

Make sure you have SAP HANA Content Tools installed correctly. (Hence you may not be finding the roles.)
