Failed Messages coming as Processed in AIF/ERR

Hi All,

In an AIF action, i have a FM in which i am calling a BAPI. I am reading RETURN table to know the result.

If there is any error in the RETURN table then i am setting SUCCESS TO N.

Also i have checked "Stop Processing on Error" for this FM.

While testing, i can see that RETURN table has errors an subsequently SUCCESS is set to N. But when i check in AIF/ERR , I see that message as PROCESSED. Ideally it should come in Errd messages right ? so that business users can see this message in error.

if it remains in PROCESSES then business user might not see this message, which is not processed.

Am i missing something ? I am not raising any exception in the FM upon error. Does it have anything to do with Engines?

Please guide me.
