Hana, SAPUI5 and WebSockets

Hi

Grateful if anyone can indicate if/when websockets may be available within hana for real-time consumption and representation of hana data within the SAPUI5 framework.

Until then Im not sure if this could be emulated within widgets executing a server side scriptS for the data feeds, and how efficient that might be?
