UWL configuration for opening an adobe form task in a HCM P&F PD process

Hi,

I couldn't find on the web any explanation for how to customize transaction SWFVISU in a way that a WF work item (adobe form) from a process of HCM P&F will be opened in UWL.

The task is TS04000018 (process PD form) with Adobe Interactive form.

When I click on the wf item in UWL, a SAP GUI opens with an error message saying the this wf item can only be opened in UWL/Portal, although I tried to open it from the portal.

I beleive I am looking for the exact configuration of the task in SWFVISU.

Can anyone help me?

Hello,

Copy your task and add below entries in SWFVISU.

APPLICATION: ASR_PD_PROCESS_EXECUTE

NAMESPACE: sap

Re-register UWL and clear cache.

Activate ASR_PD_PROCESS_EXECUTE in SICF.

Modify your workflow - replace existing task with the new task.

Configure the task TS04000018  in SWFVISU as per this note https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/1702012.

Ensure that you register/re-register the system in the portal after the task visualization is updated in SWFVISU.

The values of the parameters of SWFVISU in the note reffers to OVP application, but I am dealing with an adobe form with EHP 4, so I don't have this application.

Do you know what parameters are rellevant for this case?

Use the same parameters. Only the application will change as per the EpP level.

I think for Ehp4 it is HRASR00_PROCESS_EXECUTE.

You can reference the setting for task HRASR00_PROCESS_EXECUTE in swfvisu
