Sap-Siebel integration

HI Friends,

I need detail steps on how SIEBEL system can be

integrated with SAP system.if possible plz send me

useful information.

Hi Lavanya,

For this you need to use middleware tool b/w SAP and Non-SAP (SIEBEL).

If u come to SAP Side:

1) You need to define Logical Systems,Assign those to clients.

2) Define RFC Destination

3) Create port & partner profiles (Make sure that all the input & output parameters are passed correctly or not)

4) Create the Distribution model,Generate the partner profiles

5) Before the above settings u need to know the message type and IDOC type.

6) At lasr download the IDOC structure from WE60 and give it to Middleware guys.

They will take care of mappings to SIEBEL to SAP System

Can anyone help me out ...i want to integrate siebel with SAP XI by using iway adapter ..so how can i configure it ...or import it ?

You haven't specified what kind of integration you are looking for. Is it real time? How many interfaces? What integration platform(XI or informatica or some other EAI tools) you have? Which version of SAP are you on? Answers to these questions will result in some quality responses to your question.
