Dear Sir

Very good explanation to the topic.

But is there any way that I can change same for all line items in a single shot?

As of now, I can change 9 entries at a time. And there are more than 10k+ items.

Please help.

Dear Ayush,

That's why i have mentioned the transaction CA85N.

There you can set as many criteria as you like, based on material / plant / group etc plus additional options at the bottom. You can provide the new values in 2nd tab.

execute and click 'mass change'

Thanks,

Prem

Dear Ayush,

I will prepare a detailed doc on this, if that's helpful.

In your case, you can do as below:

CA85N

Enter the selection criteria (based on material / group /Task list/operation number etc) from 1st tab. Make sure your 10K+ records are selected in this filter.

In 2nd tab, you can see Std value text details (6 entries) at the bottom. These are your activity details.

Say if you have 5 activities and want to change 3 of them, list the activity quantity, unit, click on adopt, activity type name, click adopt check box.

You also want to change Base quantity. So, click on the "More selection criteria". i.e, the tab at the bottom page. In the "Task list - operation/activity", you can find Base Quantity. click on that and enter the new base quantity you want to change.

If you have more criteria, choose all of them.

Click execute

List of materials will be displayed

Choose all, or filter if your criteria was wrong. Click on "Mass Change".

Hope this helps

Thanks,

Prem

Dear Ayush,

You can use CEWB or CA85N for mass changes.

If you do not want change number to process mass changes through CA85N, then first set the same through OP5A.

Thanks,

Hi,

Develop a BDC for CO02 and change accordingly.

No standard functionality.

Hi Ayush,

If you want to do a mass change in Routing its better you ask Technical to design a BDC as per your requirement.

It would be difficult to update using LSMW, so please update using a BDC.

Tell your technical the way recording needs to be done, she will do the recoring & write a program, that will be an easy task.
