Cannot find the correct Client Role

Hi all!

Reading the following link System and Client Settings - System Administration Assistant (BC-RRR) - SAP Library i found that i don´t have these two client roles in SCC4: "Sandbox client" and "Pre-production client Integration Test". So i am a bit confused. What are the rigth clients for the Sandbox client and for "Pre-PRD"?

In addition, i don´t understand what the client Pre-PRD is for... i thoug that the client on Quality test was the right one for the integration tests.

Hi Andres,

Sandbox client is a copy of Production client used for making hands dirty for new configurations or scenarios.

Best practise is to install  a new sandbox server and copy Production data in to the same.

Pre-Prod client is also a copy of Production client. It is used to ensure that any changes which is planned to be moved to Production is thoroughly tested thereby reducing impact on Production client.

It is not mandatory to have this client if you already have a Test environment ( QAS) already within the landscape .

That is not what the link says. Sandbox is a copy of the CUST client, not Production. And what about the Sistem Roles that i cannot find in SCC4 that are mentioned in the link: "Sandbox client" and "Pre-production client Integration Test"
